Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to this website and to painting services provided by Matthews Painting Pros. Your written estimate or contract for a specific job controls where it differs.

1. Company Information

Matthews Painting Pros, 250 N Trade St, Matthews, NC 28105. Phone (980) 243-8188. Email info@matthewspaintingpros.com.

2. Website Use

The content on this website is general information about painting and related work. It is not a quote, and it is not legal, health or engineering advice.

3. Service Agreements

Work is performed under a written scope that lists surfaces, preparation, products, colors and coats. Changes to the scope are agreed in writing before the extra work is done.

4. Estimates and Pricing

Prices on this website are published national benchmarks from third parties, labeled by source and date. Your price comes from an on-site estimate. Estimates are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

5. Surfaces, Repairs and Results

Paint performance depends on the condition of the surface and on moisture sources outside our scope, such as roof leaks, gutters, sprinklers and drainage. We will point out problems we find; repairs outside the written scope are quoted separately.

6. Lead-Safe Work

For homes built before 1978, work that disturbs paint follows EPA and North Carolina lead-safe practices. We will provide the pre-renovation information required by those rules.

7. Colors and Samples

Colors on screens and small chips look different on a full wall. We recommend large samples before final approval. Color choices are confirmed in writing before painting starts.

8. Payment Terms

Payment terms are stated in your estimate. Typically a deposit schedules the job and the balance is due at completion after the walkthrough.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent allowed by law, our liability for any claim related to our work is limited to the amount paid for that work, except where the law does not allow such a limit.

10. Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern, contact us first so we can try to resolve it. These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina.

11. Intellectual Property
